On today’s show, Angelique Knowles joins John to share her inspirational story of how she overcame obstacles in prison, healed herself from the trauma she suffered throughout her life and forged a path forward of love and compassion.
Angelique was sentenced to 72 months at Washington correction center for women and served 66 months. Before that, she did 126 months for manufacturing methamphetamine, and possession with intent to deliver. Throughout her time in prison, she was subjected to inadequate medical care and abuse. She was subjected to horrifying trauma in her early years. But she has found the strength to push on and use her story to inspire others.
Angelique has a book called Angel Knows that she is working to get published. Her story and her character are remarkable.
