What’s really important in life?

Today I want to tell you about Dan, a man who loves to save time.

He never drives if he can fly. He never bathes if he can shower.

He finished college in three years, the same time it took me to pass freshman English.

He asked the first girl he liked out to breakfast, so if things went well he could squeeze in three dates that day.

That night he asked her to marry him. When she pleaded for more time, he delayed the ceremony until the weekend.

Linda soon embraced his hectic lifestyle, and the couple had two children…the second one born on an airplane. Luckily, Dan upgraded to first-class, so she had more delivery room.

Now, at 45, Dan looks much older, yet he still crisscrosses the country trying to outwork everybody else.

Poor Dan. He’s raced through life on a success speedboat, but never taken time for the most important part…a pleasure cruise.
