We'll See About That with Ron Cey Episode 157 Leave Tom Hardy Alone! Ron Cey
LOS ANGELES (UPI) — Mystery Science Theater 3000 will return on Netflix for a 12th season.
MST3K creator Joel Hodgson, and cast members Felicia Day and Jonah Ray made the renewal announcement in a YouTube video Thursday. Also co-starring Patton Oswalt, Rebecca Hanson, Hampton Yount and Baron Vaughn, the series features characters sitting in a theater making fun of old, low-budget movies.
Season 11 of the re-vamped show debuted on Netflix last spring after Hodgson and Shout Factory, the company that holds the rights to the cult-classic series, completed a successful crowdfunding campaign to revive it, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The original incarnation of the show aired on Comedy Central for seven seasons, ending in 1997. The Sci-Fi Channel, now Syfy, ran three more seasons before canceling it in 1999.
