Gray wolves stripped of federal endangered species protections
WASHINGTON (UPI) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior announced Thursday it was lifting endangered species protections for gray wolves in the United States, saying the 45-year recovery of U.S. wolves has "exceeded all conservation goals."
