ST. LOUIS (UPI) -- St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, the team announced Tuesday. The Blues said the procedure was successful and the forward will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Tarasenko, 27, played in 76 regular-season games and recorded 68 points (33 goals, 35 assists) this season. The 33 scores marked the fifth consecutive 30-goal season for the forward. BOSTON (UPI) -- The St. Louis Blues defeated the Boston Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night to claim their first NHL championship in franchise history.
