Blue Jackets, Boqvist ink 3-year extension
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed defenseman Adam Boqvist to a three-year, $7.8 million extension Wednesday, according to a team announcement. The deal has an average annual value of $2.6 million. Boqvist will earn $2 million in the upcoming 2022-23 season. The salary will increase by $600,000 per year for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons to $2.6 million and $3.2 million respectively.
