Nearly all POTUS petitions in Illinois challenged
SPRINGFIELD -- In the final hours of the petition objections period, objections were filed in Illinois against four presidential slates for the November general election. Jeff Fiedler filed the first objection of the day against the Libertarian Party's presidential slate, which currently had placeholder candidates in Scott Schluter and Lex Green, presumably held for nominee Chase Oliver and running mate Mike ter Maat.
