Second Republican runs for Illinois Secretary of State
SPRINGFIELD – A former federal and Springfield-area prosecutor is the latest candidate for Illinois Secretary of State. John Milhiser describes himself in a news release as having a “commitment to justice and public service” describing himself as both a successful federal and Sangamon County prosecutor. He says he’s not a career politician despite having run for office before.
