NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis Chamber of Commerce met Thursday, November 9 at noon for its final meeting of the 2023 calendar year at Demi's Diner. President Dr. Scott Doerr presented an update on the upcoming Snowkomis celebration on December 8-9. NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis Chamber of Commerce met at noon on Thursday, September 7 inside the council chambers at the city complex. Secretary Roger Blankenship made an announcement that he is resigning and retiring from the Chamber after 43 years. His resignation and retirement were approved by members in attendance. NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis Chamber of Commerce met on May 11 at Demi's Diner with a limited agenda. Jim Rupert, representing the Nokomis Public Library, presented a request for $5,000. The funds would help complete several aspects of the new public library. This includes any remaining remodeling and refurbishing, as well as the move itself to the former Masonic Lodge.
