Settlement reached over voter registration lawsuit
SPRINGFIELD (Capitol News Illinois) — Illinois voting rights groups have reached a settlement agreement with Secretary of State Jesse White over alleged violations of the federal Voting Rights Act and Illinois’ recently passed automatic voter registration law.
