Illinois municipal group seeks more local input on COVID-19 action
SPRINGFIELD (The Center Square) -- Gov. J.B. Pritzker has criticized local governments for not enforcing his COVID-19 orders, placing blame for increased cases at their feet. Local governments are looking for more collaboration from the governor. In Springfield and Sangamon County, officials are issuing fines and suspending food licenses.
