Montgomery heading to Minnesota United in trade deal

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Minnesota United acquired Callum Montgomery over the weekend in a deal with FC Dallas. A fourth-round MLS SuperDraft pick is going to Dallas in exchange for the 23-year-old defender. Additionally, FC Dallas will receive $50,000 in general allocation funds. This is conditional on Montgomery reaching certain performance incentives. Montgomery was drafted by Dallas in 2019 out of UNC-Charlotte.
