PANA -- A Pana man was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of child pornography, as part of a statewide effort from Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul to apprehend traffickers of lewd images online. HILLSBORO -- Montgomery County has been issued a tentative property assessment equalization factor of 1.0000, according to David Harris, director of the Illinois Department of Revenue. The property assessment equalization factor, often called the “multiplier,” is the method used to achieve uniform property assessments among counties, as required by law. More than 30,700 Illinois mail-in ballots rejected

SPRINGFIELD (The Center Square) – About 30,700 mail-in ballots in Illinois were rejected statewide in last year’s November election, according to preliminary data from the Illinois State Board of Elections.  Data shows a total of more than 2.2 million mail-in ballots were requested across the state for November's election. More than 657,000 were returned with around 626,300 counted.
