ROBINSON – The Illinois State Police arrested 24-year-old Lance T. Newcomb for First-Degree Murder relating to an incident in Cumberland County. EDWARDSVILLE — Work is underway on resurfacing Illinois Route 159. This will mean some overnight lane closures, weather permitting. The intermittent closures along Illinois 159 are expected to last through November, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
