Detmers had an excellent showing Saturday night, July 24, 2021 in his Triple-A debut with the Salt Lake Bees against the Las Vegas Aviators. Nokomis council makes two new hires

NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis City Council approved two new city employee hires during its regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 14. The opening for a full-time wastewater employee is now closed, following the hire of Jerome Taylor. The hire is in immediate effect and Taylor will start work this week. The vacancy was created when Landon Collins was hired last month to join the Nokomis Police Department. Coalton board discusses audit, maintenance

COALTON -- The annual audit was an item of discussion during the Coalton village board's meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Trustee Steve Lee presented his report as finance chair, which would include the audit. A quarterly review is also now complete.
