JACKSONVILLE -- Iowa-based grocery chain Hy-Vee is coming to Jacksonville as the County Market store on West Morton Ave. was sold Thursday. Former Illinois Capitol Police officer going to jail

TAYLORVILLE -- A former Illinois Capitol Police investigator involved in an April 2021 car wreck will be spending 18 years behind bars. Robert Hodson, 48, of Taylorville was involved in an accident in Christian County resulting in the deaths of two fellow Taylorville residents. ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues president and general manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday a new signing. The team has signed forward Isaac Ratcliffe, according to the news release.
