Neuhaus elected GROWMARK board president

BLOOMINGTON — Dennis Neuhaus of Hoyleton (Washington County) was elected president of GROWMARK’s board of directors this month at the cooperative’s annual meeting.

Neuhaus and his wife, Pam, operate a fifth-generation family farm that includes 1,800 acres of row crops in southwest Illinois. He is a member of the Gateway FS board and has served on the GROWMARK board since 2012, including the vice chairman role from 2022 until his recent election as president.

“This annual meeting marked the beginning of our journey toward an important milestone, our 100th anniversary in 2027,” Neuhaus said. “While we celebrate a century of success, we are equally focused on the future and building an even stronger cooperative for generations to come.”

Bloomington-based GROWMARK serves nearly 400,000 farmers and customers across the U.S. and Canada. The current board of directors consists of 19 active farmers who are fully engaged in guiding GROWMARK and its affiliated FS and grain companies to reach the vision of becoming the best ag cooperative system in North America.

Additionally, Jason Balding, Illinois Farm Bureau District 17 director from Albion (Edwards County), was elected as the interlocking Farm Bureau member on the GROWMARK board of directors.
