We'll See About That with Ron Cey Episode 157 Leave Tom Hardy Alone! Ron Cey
Motor cars are incredible machines. Tirelessly moving to get you from A to B, your vehicle is likely to be very important to you. With life being far harder, sometimes you aren’t able to use your four-wheeled machine. Of course, though, as time goes on, cars are getting better and better. This means that they are also gaining new features.
Modern cars are packed with far more sensors than their older counterparts. Some of these sensors track things happening on the road. Other sensors monitor certain aspects of your car.
Tire pressure, for example, can be monitored by your car, providing you with an idea of the pressure inside your tires at any given time. Sensors like this can help car owners to maintain their cars properly without regular manual checks.
Alongside monitoring oil levels and other consumables, some modern cars are also able to monitor parts wear. Small optical sensors are able to register changes in your car’s internals. This is great for car owners who struggle to keep an eye on things like brake pads. This gives you the chance to leave this job to the car that you drive.Â

Monitoring parts are all well and good, but what about ordering replacements for them? Not many cars are able to do this. Options like Tesla offers their owners the chance to have parts ordered whenever they need them. This is a great feature for car owners who struggle to maintain their vehicle, giving you the chance to order Holden parts or whatever your car needs without having to put the effort into it.
Finally, as the last modern feature to look at, it’s time to think about appointment booking. Most countries have rules in place that force drivers to have their cars tested each year. This can be all too easy to forget about, costing drivers money when they are fined for ignoring it. Your car can automatically book appointments like this for you. However, this can happen as long as you have a modern vehicle with Internet connectivity. This is great for just about anyone on the road.
Cars are doing a lot more than they used to in order to keep them on the road. This gives drivers the chance to enjoy driving for what it is. That is more preferable to having to think about the car that they drive. Of course, though, you still need to be responsible for your car. Features like these should never trump common sense.
