SPRINGFIELD — Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college or training for a new career are invited to visit Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) for an open house on Monday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free event will be held at LLCC’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Rd. It will also be at LLCC Outreach Centers in Jacksonville (32 N. Central Park Plaza), Litchfield (1 Lincoln Land Dr.) and Taylorville (800 S. Spresser).
“Start here at LLCC, whether you are looking to earn a degree or train for a hands-on career,” says LLCC President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D. “We invite you to find your path at our open house by exploring majors and our personalized services that help students reach their goals.”
Visitors can check in at the event information tent and then follow footprints to various areas on campus. They can speak with faculty and staff, view exhibits, and take tours. They can also learn about how to enroll, pay for college, and apply for admission. The event will also feature an outdoor cookout, DJ, and student life activities.
Registration for the Open House is encouraged and available at www.llcc.edu/open-house or by calling (217) 786-2577.
