We'll See About That with Ron Cey Episode 157 Leave Tom Hardy Alone! Ron Cey
In a political environment that is more divisive and more hostile than ever, it’s often difficult to gauge how one really thinks. This is definitely the case with hyperpartisanship where voters really don’t how where they really stand. However, a tool that’s been around since 2016 is starting to reveal where people truly stand on the nation’s most pressing issues.
ISideWith is a website that helps you to learn where your views most align. The site runs you through a short quiz that asks your stance on various policy issues, then determines which candidates and parties most agree with you.
It’s not a new idea, but the 2020 execution of ISideWith is a bit newer. It’s clean, concise, clear and helps you understand politics in a way you likely never have before. It shows you each individual politician’s views side-by-side with yours.
You can take the 2020 presidential quiz right now.
Just did the survey on @iSideWith

Here’s where it gets handed off to editor-in-chief Jake Leonard.
I took this exact political quiz back in 2016. My issue stances would align with the Libertarian Party, a political party that I have supported since 2010, with a 96% score. It would match with the candidate I eventually cast my vote for in 2016 – Gary Johnson – with a 93% score.
There were some questions that were additions to the quiz over the past four years. I replied to those recently. The results were interesting.

My political views grew with the Libertarian mindset since 2016 by 3%. The percentage matching with the presidential nominee, Jo Jorgensen, did not change, remaining at 93%.

It’s amazing how little you know about politics until you realize where you actually stand.
