CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (UPI) — The Dave Matthews Band have announced a new album and a North American summer tour set for 2018.
The album, the group’s ninth studio album overall and first since 2012’s Away From The World, does not yet have a title.
“The band is currently putting the finishing touches on the album,” the Dave Matthews Band said in a statement.
The tour is set to begin on May 18 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas, before wrapping up Sept. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Tickets go on sale for the general public starting Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets are available for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association.
Every ticket purchased will include a choice of a CD or digital download of the new album when it is released.
Dave Matthews Band last went on tour in 2016 to celebrate their 25th anniversary before taking a break from touring in 2017.
