Vice President of Operations

Job Purpose:nMeets customer requirements by directing staff; developing and implementing purchasing, logistical, and production systems.n nDuties:n* Maintains manufacturing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.n* Cultivate double digit topline growth through you direct efforts to drive productivity and capacity.n* Control costs and margins to generate EBITDA results according to management targets that meet company objectives.n* Create and implement plans to improve operation efficiency and production.n* Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.n* Produces products by establishing production planning systems; maintaining good manufacturing practices; enforcing quality standards; improving products and processes.n* Provides materials by developing purchasing and logistical systems; controlling inventory.n* Achieves financial objectives by establishing objectives; developing budgets; controlling costs; maximizing use of assets.n* Delivers products by developing storage and transportation systems; negotiating contracts.n* Complies with legal requirements by enforcing company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.n* Embrace and drive company culture of stellar performance expectations, with open, honest and direct communications, ethically driven decision making and with a spirit of joy and generosity among the team.n* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.n nSkills/Qualifications:nSupervision, Analyzing Information , Innovation, Strategic Planning, Manufacturing Control Planning, Process Improvement, Quality Management, Vendor Relationships, Managing Processes, Dealing with Complexity, Supports Innovation, BS Degree with at least five years of experience in Operations Management.
