Our client who is a global leader in manufacturing industrial equipment used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team!n nThe ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who can identify influencers and key decision-makers within accounts. You will be able to find qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.n nPay: $65K base+ uncapped commission (expected 25-30K)n nRemote Flexibility: Ideally, this person will live within an hour of Naperville. This person will be sending a significant amount of time working remotely, however, there will be times when they are needed in the plant in Naperville. If they have customers onsite or are doing specific training, they must be flexible. This person will be working remotely at least 50% of the time.n nRole Breakdown:n n20% Trade Shows (both pre-marketing, attendance, and post-marketing). Will do 5-6 per year.n n20% Handling incoming leads that have not been verifiedn n50% Account-Based Marketing – this would include cold calls to find the right contacts within their target accounts, and then introducing the sale to a Sales Engineer to complete the sales cycle.n n10% Assisting the Sales Engineers with lead generation and prospecting additional accounts.n nResponsibilities:n nDrive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managersnUpdate and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRMnConsistently achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunitiesn nQualifications:n nBachelor's degree in Engineering- Chemical, Mechanical, Chemistry, or Science related (Business could also work)nAt least 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience (want someone who is hungry to sell and interested in uncapped commission)n1+ years in a technical sales/cold-calling environmentnFamiliarity with Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or any CRM SoftwarenExcellent written and verbal communication skillsnAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workn nIf this role is of interest to you, please apply now as we are currently scheduling interviews!
