n Employment Type: nFull time n Shift: n12 Hour Day Shift n Description: n nn Full Time Day Shift nn nnThis is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually.Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago. nn nnThe Stroke Neuro Unit is a 24-bed unit that includes telemetry beds devoted to the care of Stoke patients. A multidisciplinary approach is taken when managing care contributing to quality outcomes. All patients presenting with the diagnosis of stroke/TIA and neuro except those who meet specific criteria for exclusion should be admitted to the Stroke Unit. Stroke/TIA patients will have continuous heart rhythm monitoring as ordered in the stroke/TIA admission order protocol and neuro patients will have continuous heart rhythm monitoring as ordered in the neuro orders.
