nnA healthcare organization in Pennsylvania is actively seeking a patient-oriented and driven Psychiatrist to join their growing staff. In this role, the Psychiatrist will ensure optimal psychiatric services are accessible to patients at all times. Responsibilities The Psychiatrist will: Evaluate and monitor the medication of consumers assigned to their care Review and sign treatment plans for the outpatient clinic Provide assistance when appropriate in the psychiatric hospitalization of residents, including facilitating the 302 process Prescribe for urine toxicology as appropriate Act as referral agent for medical consultations Assist in the interpretation of evaluation materials and test results Assure back-up psychiatric coverage Consultation to Case Managers and other pertinent staff Attend specific meetings, as assigned and/or agreed upon Provide timely and comprehensive documentation of clinical activities in accordance with agency policies Qualifications MD/DO degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy in the U.S.; or valid MD degree from a foreign school of medicine, have passed the ECFMG exam, and 3 years of related experience Completed an internship from an accredited graduate medical education program recognized by the AMA or AOA Completed a psychiatric residency in an accredited residency program and will be board certified Valid and current DEA certificate Your privacy is important to us.
