Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.nn nHUD PRAC 202 experience and HAP processing is a must.n nMust have Low-Income Housing Tax Credit experience.n nAt least one year of property management experience.n nHigh School diploma or its equivalent.n nn Preferred Skills: nn nProfessional certification preferred (CMH, ARM, CAM, RAM).n nKnowledge of regulations, acts, guidelines, etc., pertaining to conventional properties.n nKnowledge of computer operations, including basic data entry.n nMay be required to live on-site.n nAbility to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with residents and employees.n nn Essentials: nn nSupervise the property office, ensuring all bookkeeping, marketing, and lease preparations are performed as required.n nMarket the property in accordance with Fair Housing Regulations and the management agent’s guidelines.n nSubmit reports as required by the management agent or mandated by the federal, state or local government.n nMaintain office files for all business and financial records, as well as properly crediting the accounts and properly depositing all monies received.n nInspect property daily to ensure building and grounds are properly maintained and take or suggest any actions needed for repair.n nHire, train, supervise, evaluate, and discipline staff.n nRespond to all resident requests and complaints.n nAssist with any other task as assigned.n nn Our 2022 Great Place to Work survey results found that 87% of employees said their work has a special meaning: this is not just a job. nn nnTake pride in helping others, and join us today!nn nnAt VOANS, we celebrate sharing, encouraging and embracing diversity.
