All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status. n n nn nKedrion Biopharma & KEDPLASMA offer a number of benefits to qualifying employees, including: n n- Medical, vision and dental insurance n n- Life and AD&D insurance n n- Paid holidays n n- PTO accrual n n- and much more! n nIf you would like further details regarding the benefits we offer please let us know, and we would be glad to provide you with our full benefits guide, as well as answering any questions you may have! n n nDuties and Responsibilities: n nPerform donor identification, registration, and screening; to determine donor suitability according to cGMPs, DCOPs, CFR, PPTA standards, customer specifications and Company policies. n nMust be able to draw vein and finger stick samples as required. n nMaintain smooth and efficient flow of donors through registration and screening. n nMust be competent in assessing pre-donation unsuitability signals, performing vital signs, HCT/TP testing, donor deferral and donor reaction management. n nCoordinate with physician/physician substitutes for physicals, assessments, document review, SPE approval, NAT testing protocols, immunizations, etc. n nPerform calibration and cleaning of equipment as required by pre-determined schedules and in accordance with DCOP’s. n nPerform donor identification and review of records according to SOP’s. n nPerform Haemonetics Autopheresis setup and programming with understanding of alarm signals during operation, shut down, and in the event of power failure. n nMaintain equipment calibration, standardization, and cleaning schedules according to SOP’s. n nEnsure that the donor floor is properly stocked with supplies and soft goods. n nUnderstand and perform proper DMS computer entry and comments for donor data and exceptions and assist in other activities as required. n nRecord any required documentation accurately and in compliance with Company SOP’s. n nMonitor donors for possible issues with their donation, understand how to handle donor adverse events and collection exceptions. n nJOB SPECIFICATIONS: n nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer, typing, and mathematical skills. n nAvailable to work flexible and/or extended shifts. Excellent communication skills. n nOccupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens. n nDemonstrated basic knowledge of computer equipment. n nDemonstrated accuracy in completing documentation. n nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: n nAbility to sit or stand for long periods of time and work flexible schedules. n nAbility to tug, lift, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds. n nBe able to bend, stoop or kneel. n nOccupational exposure to blood borne pathogens. n nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
