nnThe Chappelow Events (CE) Marketing Coordinator supports the event marketing process ensuring all deliverables are on schedule and consistent with the client’s organization/branding. Internally, this position coordinates the Chappelow Event’s digital marketing presence. This includes but is not limited to the following: social media coordination, web management, digital campaigns, and providing support on networking events. Some onsite work at events will also be required. nn nn n nn nnThe ideal candidate is hard-working, an outstanding communicator, collaborative by nature, organized multi-tasker, and possesses the ability to assist on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. This is an entry-level position that reports to the Event Designer and Marketing Manager. nn nn n nn nn Job Responsibilities nn nn This position supports the marketing of client events as follows: nn nn n nn nn CLIENT EVENT MARKETING SUPPORT (all clients) nn nDraft first round copy for event materials such as invitation, marketing emails, event guest teaser emails, event program outline, event signage n nSupport the management of the event website and mobile bidding site n nAssist with the organization of event branding assets into marketing materials such as email headers, website banners, etc.n nIf applicable, monitor and organize reports for online digital marketing (Google Ads, Non-profit website promotion, etc.)n nRun post-event closeout reports based on event marketing promotionsn nn n nn nn FULFILLMENT/SOLICITATION SUPPORT (select clients) nn nCreation of auction/raffle solicitation materials.n nDraft marketing copy for fundraising packages, descriptions, confirming values, and sourcing photosn nUpdate event website with new sponsor assets n nCreate auction certificates for the winners – including silent, live, raffle, golden ticketn nOutline sponsor solicitation materials and outreach emailsn nn nn nn This position supports the annual marketing and sales development initiatives of Chappelow Events as follows: nn nConduct research of market trends, competitor landscape, and prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing datan nEnsure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generationn nReestablish our social media presence and create a monthly schedule for social media posting and engagement. Create the majority of the posted content. n nSupport the Event Designer and Marketing Manager with planning networking events and opportunities n nOrganize content for the Chappelow Events Blog. Ideally, the Marketing Coordinator would be responsible for event recap articles and highlighting upcoming initiatives. n nDevelop and execute monthly newsletters for Chappelow Events. Highlight new blog posts, upcoming events, team member spotlights, etc. n nn n nn nn Salary Range: $36,000-$40,000 depending on experiencenn nn n nn nn Preferred Skills and Qualifications nn nMust have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related fieldn n1-2 years of proven working experience in digital, social, and content marketing, particularly within the industry (nonprofit and/or events)n nExpert in Google Suite (Spreadsheets, Slides, Doc). Experience with Microsoft Office and CANVAn nBasic knowledge of HTML, design and email software n nAttention to detailn nStrong verbal and written communication skillsn nOptimistic problem solvern nMust be based in the Kansas City metro arean nn+ Graphic design skills are preferred but not requirednn nn+ Google Analytics and Digital Marketing certifications are preferred but not requirednn nn n nn nn Schedule and Benefits nn nnOur small company does not have a physical office space, so the majority of our work is done remotely from our own homes (or favorite coffee shops). We work independently and also collaboratively on a weekly basis. Monday is generally reserved for team meetings. Tuesday through Thursday are client facing days, and Friday is reserved for independent work projects. This is subject to change based on the event schedule. nn nn n nn nnWe also offer flexible scheduling. Which means that as long as you are available for scheduled client meetings and company meetings, you can complete other work tasks at the time of day that works best for you. Some tasks will require daytime attention, while others can be done at night. Our team connects regularly to prioritize task work to ensure this flexibility remains beneficial to team members and our clients.nn nn n nn nnThis is a full time position with a typical 40-hour work week, though some weeks will require additional hours because of on-site event work.
