Reports to: Loan Operations Manager
Supervises: No supervising responsibilities
Job Summary
This is an entry level position in the Loan Department. Loan Operations is responsible for putting all the loans the Bank books on the systems and servicing the existing portfolio. This position will learn the Daily Work , as outlined below, in the Department. Once trained, they will be able to advance within the department by learning how to service, put up, and prepare the documentation for the various types of loans National Bank of Coxsackie offers.
Duties
1) Fold & stuff notices
2) Reports:
a. Non-posted transactions; researching misapplied or incorrect coded payments and correcting.
b. Paid Note statements; create mortgage satisfactions, Lien releases & tax terminations mail Paid in full contracts w/ appropriate collateral release forms.
c. Review of Notes coming due; maintenance of all matured loans
d. LAS Posted transactions
e. Expanded Daily statement of condition review all in process G/L accounts and identify & correct any discrepancies.
f. Collateral Review Report special review for accounts that need monthly/yearly monitoring
3) Mail:
a. process payments & payoff s & post thru insight.
b. process credit card payments
c. Insurance policies update current policy on system & file; send cancellation letter s when necessary.
d. Recorded Mortgage s, MV901 (DMV Liens), Title policies (scan if necessary)
e. update pending collateral trackers
f. filing
4) Credit Card Account; reconcile daily
5) Loan Cashier check Account; reconcile daily
6) Assisting in any necessary projects when needed.
Answer phones – assisting customers, attorneys, dealerships, insurance companies, etc. on their various request & questions.
Background Requirements
Position requires very good mathematical skills, good interactive personality attributes, proper neatness and dress, and ability to work with all bank staff. Computer skills are needed to utilize internal software. Must maintain appropriate level of professionalism. Financial background is a plus.
