Rotating weekends and holidays. nn nn Licensed Social Worker/LCSW/LCPC – Emergency Department (ED).This team is seeking future colleagues with a passion to provide advanced behavioral health knowledge and skills including direct and indirect assessment and care to patients and families, crisis intervention, support group facilitation, behavioral health education and problem solving in all clinical care areas. nn nnOur Licensed Social Workers in the ED are a specialized team that performs care with patients who have been identified as needing psychological assessment or interventions beyond the scope of general patient care practice. nn nnIn this position, the social worker will complete Level of Care Assessments (psychosocial) and participate in the development of the individual treatment plan on all inpatients. The social worker will regularly consult with attending psychiatrists regarding patients' condition throughout treatment, which includes participating in weekly clinical staffing with the treatment team and coordinating discharge planning in conjunction with the treating psychiatrist. They will also provide psychiatric and substance use assessments, crisis intervention and consultation to the Emergency Department and nursing units, respond in person and via telephone to those in behavioral health crises, and provides psychosocial support to patients and families who are in acute distress. nn nn Requirements: nn nn Master's degree required in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work nn nn Certification/Licensure: Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required.
