Scheduled working hours for this position are Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts (some flexibility with start and stop time). Candidates must be located in Topeka or Kansas City (no more than 2 hour commute from Topeka, KS). Onsite work is required approximately 1-2 times per month max. n n Job Title: IT Application Support Analyst (Hybrid) n Locations: Kansas City, MO or Topeka, KS n Role Type: W2 Only, No C2C n Contract Length: 12 months n Pay Rate: starting at $41.78/hr. n nHow to Apply: Please send resume and contact information to Keena Leo, Sourcing Specialist, at KLeo@strategicstaff.com and reference job #219645.n n nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:n n n n • Under general supervision, participate in the cooperative research and planning efforts between business and technical teams to prepare design specifications from business function requirements for multiple assigned application systems.n• Lead and coordinate IT and business teams through technical change and track progress of the System Development Lifecycle as primary point of contact on an application.n• Implement and document application modifications and process optimization changes to accomplish objectives and meet diverse and complex business opportunities.n• Troubleshooting of application issues from a process perspective and participating in and coordinating teams towards resolution.n• Ability to work independently, proactively, and gain experience in additional application software solutions, business processes, and related IT technical skills.n• Use personal initiative and knowledge of application analysis to create technical specifications and provide end-user consultative support addressing a variety of system issues and business process requirements.n• Ability to use good judgment, attention to detail and persistence to perform incident review, resolve issues in a timely manner, document findings and lessons learned.n• Familiar with business and corporate goals, strategy, and service level concepts.n• Establish cooperative relationships with members of technical teams, business support teams and end users with effective communication ability with both technical and business teams.n• Supports generation applications. Must have high regard for process and procedural adherence, attention to detail and trustworthiness are emphasized.n• Strong documentation skills to demonstrate system functional documents and flow diagrams to explain system workflow.n• Additional work as assigned.n REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:n n n n • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems) or 2 or more years of equivalent experience.
