Finance Directorn n An ADP Client, Pi Beta Phi Women’s Fraternity is currently seeking a Finance Director to join their team in St. Louis, MO. n n About the Role: n nPi Beta Phi Women’s Fraternity is looking for a Finance Director to join their finance team. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Finance and will be responsible for the reconciliation and integrity of the general ledger for finance operations, oversight of daily accounting functions, overseeing the management of chapter finances, and the oversight of financial reporting and long-term financial planning for Pi Beta Phi.n nAbout Pi Beta Phi Fraternity:n nThe mission of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women is to promote friendship, develop women of intellect and integrity, cultivate leadership potential, and enrich lives through community service. The vision of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women is to be recognized as a premier organization for women by providing lifelong enrichment to its members and contributing to the betterment of society.n nPi Beta Phi’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, and statements on philanthropic service and their commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion can be found at pibetaphi.org/about.n nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:n n• Leads and reviews month-end, quarter-end, semester-end, and year-end financial reporting procedures in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)n n• Prepares monthly/quarterly financial statements, reports, and analyses to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate for Fraternity/FHCn n• Gathers information for financial reporting and prepares Board reportsn n• Preparing and reviewing documents for audit of the financial statements by external auditorsn n• Leads Chapter House Corporation (CHC) transitions into FHCn n• Leads and oversees financial collaboration with Foundation such as the CHIP/EAGP program and grant requestsn n• Partners with the Sr. Director of Human Resources to ensure accurate payroll and benefit/retirement plan reporting for employeesn n• Implement, develop, and adjust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance staffn n• Develop training for finance/housing volunteersn n• Responsible for Resource Library and Online Learning Center (OLC) training webinar updatesn n• Oversee communications with chapters and volunteersn n• Direct liaison in specific 'lead' areas and responsible for delegation to the finance team for consistency and efficiency, which includes leading area specific meetings, updates to volunteer liaisons/boards, and communicationsn n• Gather information and prepare budgets for FHC/Fraternityn n• Review budgets and develop templates for Chapter Financen n• Lead new chapter establishments which includes overseeing finance staff to support chapter financial management needsn n• Responsible for leading assigned events, which may include and is not limited to college Weekend, Convention, Housing Forums, etc.n n• Champions overall organizational prioritiesn n• Other duties as assignedn nIdeal Candidate: n n• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related educationn n• 5 years of experience or any equivalent experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesn n• Knowledge and strict adherence to GAAP reporting proceduresn n• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsn n• Presentation skills preferredn nAdditional Important Information and Offerings:n n• This role will directly supervise the Finance Coordinator and the Accounts Payable Coordinatorn n• Moderate travel required (will need to attend occasional events and conventions)n n• Hybrid work schedule (must be based in St. Louis)n n• Competitive salary with annual bonus opportunities (exempt)n n• 401k, Medical/Dental/Vision/Life, health benefitsn n• Generous PTO Policy (a full week off in December AND in the summer!)n n• Healthy work/life balance
