Earn $50,050 Per Year as an EMT

Earn $62,920 Per Year as a Paramedic

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EMT’s & Paramedics:

Must be able to Lift in excess of a minimum of 150 lbs.
Must be able to perform all essential job functions of an EMT/Paramedic lifting/moving patients, bending, squatting, sitting, pushing & pulling a stretcher etc. in addition to all medical functions as licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health.
Must be willing to submit to a Pre-employment drug screening.
Must be willing to attend all company mandated orientations, training’s & meetings.
Must keep State Licensure Current with the hospital system we are associated with as well as in good standing with the State of Illinois Department of Public Health which includes staying current with mandated CE & Certifications.
Must comply with all company policies & procedures.
The EMT & Paramedic job function is to transport sick and injured persons by ambulance in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort and to administer Basic Life Support & Advanced Life Support pre-hospital care and treatment within the limits defined by the State of Illinois law and Elite Ambulance Medical Director & limitations defined by their license level.

Paramedics & EMT’s:

Must possess a valid EMT-B or EMT-P license issued by IDPH
Current Health Care Provider CPR Card
Valid Illinois Driver License & clean driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Must be willing to attend company approved driving course & training
