Database Administrator

The purpose of this position is to facilitate database development and administration in support of REJIS and customer’s mission criminal justice application services. We’re looking for a database professional having experience with database development and support. We build unique solutions that make a difference in serving the criminal justice agencies we support.n nRequirementsn nOne or more years of experience in database administration and design using Oracle Database version 11 and/or version 19C or an equivalent level of education. Equivalent level of education includes a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management Information Technology or Computer Science that included coursework in database technology. Candidates who are currently Oracle Certified Professionals will be considered. nExcellent understanding of SQL, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. nExperience or knowledge of Oracle patching, database backup & recovery, capacity planning, and server migration is a plus.nFamiliarity with a database management tools such as Idera’s DBArtisan, Quest’s Toad, or Quest’s Erwin Data Modeler. nOptional experience working with Oracle LogMiner and/or an understanding of DB Visit’s Standby database replication for Oracle, would be helpful.n nEOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Marital Statusn n n n n nThe REJIS Commission has developed an EEOP Utilization Report as required by the United States Department of Justice.
