OVERVIEW
The Associate Category Manager is responsible for supporting the daily execution of product marketing activities including, but not limited to, short/long term product planning, product development, product lifecycle management, data analysis and reporting for Libbey’s Americas sourced products line. The Associate Category Manager will collaborate other functional teams – sales, channel, pricing, NPD, and other internal and external stakeholders; and must have a shared passion for winning!

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage activities for category projects to ensure timeliness of product launches, marketing collateral, and customer specific executions
* Assist in managing the non-glass dinnerware and flatware MTS product lines to drive sales and margin growth while reducing complexity
* Conduct on-going product portfolio analysis, competitor assessments, and SWOT analysis to create summary presentations used for line reviews and product road maps
* Participate in ideation leading to the creation of new products
* Maintain product databases with product specifications, artwork, and catalog copy
* Execution of category product strategies
* Identify category issues and opportunities
* Optimize category P&L through new product forecasting, sku rationalization and managing unhealthy inventory
* Identify and leverage consumer trends and insights
* Create new product PowerPoint decks and give presentations as needed to customers and stakeholders; prepare and present product to customers and stakeholders
* Maintain competitor product cross reference lists with Libbey products
* Conduct competitor market and list price analysis and make price adjustment recommendations
* Trade Show product selection, preparation, execution, and booth set up
* Attend industry trade shows and conferences to stay current on competitive landscape, market, and tabletop trends

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma required
* Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing or related field required; MBA preferred but not required
* 2+ years of experience in product management, new product development or marketing
* Background in foodservice marketing for a manufacturer, distributor, and restaurant/hotel preferred
* Demonstrated organizational aptitude, ability to manage projects from start to completion
* Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret findings into action plans
* Proven ability to work effectively on teams to accomplish goals and objectives
* Ability to work multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines with minimal oversight
* Attention to detail essential, excellent time management skills
* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential
