Emerging Technology in Business & Design: Assistant/Associate Professor to support the Games and Simulation program within the Department of Emerging Technology in Business and Design (ETBD).
This full-time tenure-track position is open at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The
Assistant/Associate Professor will teach courses that may include game art (3D environments, 3D
textures, and/or 3D character animation), technical art, game development, game technology and game
design, maintain an active research and/or creative program; provide service to the University. ETBD
faculty are actively involved in advising students; facilitating graduate/undergraduate interdisciplinary
research projects; leading client-based projects; and leading co-curricular activities, student organizations, etc.

Required: For appointment as an Assistant Professor: M.F.A. or Ph.D. by date of appointment and games- related experience; For appointment as an Associate Professor: M.F.A. or Ph.D. by date of appointment, games-related experience, and an established record of teaching and research or creative achievement.

Consideration may be given to candidates with an accomplished research or creative achievement record, including a record of significant peer-evaluated scholarship and successful grant writing; demonstrated experience in related areas; a record of experience and/or keen interest in teaching in related areas.
