Assembler

Aerotek is looking for a temporary ASSEMBLER in the CLIFTON PARK, NY area.

SHIFT: Monday-Friday 5am – 3:30pm

temporary 12 week position

PAY RATE: $17/hr

MUST HAVES

Assembly (mechanical or electrical)

Hand tools such as crimpers and pliers

Positive attitude – very laid back and drama-free environment

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assemble LED fixtures in accordance with current manufacturing practices

Plan and coordinate work to meet production and schedule requirements

Maintain clean and organized production equipment and work areas

Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications

Interpret and build from work instructions and engineering drawings

Work on both team and individual tasks

Assist in the packaging of finished products and preparation of shipments

Maintain inventory of certain job materials

Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change

SKILLS:

• Assembly/Mechanical Assembly
• Experience with crimping, soldering, production, reading blueprints/schematics
• Experience with hand tools

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in monotonous tasks such as small assembly, wiring, or soldering
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong hands on and mechanical skills
• Electrical experience is a plus
