On this episode Cello sits down with Kyle Murdock, who was born in Washington, DC and raised during the golden era of hip-hop, K(yle) Murdock is best known for being one half of the progressive hip-hop tandem Panacea and K, along with the group’s emcee Raw Poetic, were signed to legendary underground hip-hop label Rawkus Records in 2006. They have a lengthy chat about those times, how he has progressed, linking up with Mega Ran and his time spent working in the field as an “audio animator” for XM Satellite Radio, where he helped craft the sonic landscapes for some of the service’s landmark hip-hop & jazz channels.
